[hijack!] anyone know the best way of auto resizing 300 images. PSP7 only seems to batch convert, not resize.

create an action to do the resizing (or to do anything really) and then apply the action to the whole batch.

By the way: On friday, I was going to ask you if you'd thought of making a photomosaic out of the front page images you have archived? Could be nice.
