before he had his solo project, I didn't realise the singer from Ben Folds Five was in fact Ben Folds. I took the name to mean someone called Ben is folding five... things. I was smart.

I went to see him this year, and he did a little solo section in the middle of the gig, so I got to be in the crowd doing the horn section. sadly, I was on the side that did the lower part, I wanted to sing the higher one
