Normally we (some of us) suggest using ISP webspace, obviously in your case that's not as practical as it is for others - but at least you got it displayed!

you could try the following

well,
the image wasn't too huge, so unless it turned up on the front page, probably not. in any case, it's more efficient to resize the image itself, because when you set the width attribute the large image is still downloaded, and then it's also resized by the browser.
