was in "Yay! Airfix kit!" mode and therefore glued it together within a couple of days - but then i think it lost it's appeal when he remembered he didn't have any paint

he built then said that the cockpit didn't look good enough, so he got a block of rubber and carved out a more realistic cockpit.

and i'm determined to make it properly and YES that means painting it before putting it together. Christ its hard to resist the childhood urges of, "argh f*ck it, stick it all together NOW!"
