# What was the result in that?
/was working and in the pub blog
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 8:15, archived)
# Serbia
Cheating Balkan Twunts
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 8:17, archived)
# Serbia won?
Blimey! I almost wish I'd stayed home to see Wogan's reaction.
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 8:20, archived)
# Missed it myself
I came through to finish this, plus I didn't want to hear the song again. It deserves its vileness rating. Utter Shite!
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 8:22, archived)
# I'm sure they all were bloody shite
I heard (in the pub) that Ireland came last and that was no surprise, but where did UK come? I know the rest were bound to be crap...but Serbia? Jesus! Crack was on the cards last night.
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 8:25, archived)
# We were just ahead of Ireland I think.
Yup, Serbia was fucking shite. Another b3tan described the singer as looking like a lesbian emo schoolkid. I voted for Finland again.
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 8:29, archived)
# I voted for sweden
they had a very pretty lad singing a rip off of "son of my father" by chickory tip

Ireland were utter shite, a complete embarrasment. I mean it wasn't even proper fiddlydee music, when they upped the tempo it was still plodding, the backing musicians should have had a few pints in them before they started playing and the dana lookalike they had singing couldn't even fake playing a bodhran properly, she's obvoiusly not given many hand jobs. UK were awful, as expected. but serbia? FFS.....
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 8:32, archived)
# ireland do everything they can
(short of having harold shipman singing) to lose because they cant afford to stage the event next year
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 8:37, archived)
# Wow!
Is Harold Shipman doing bookings now?

That'll stop him hanging around.
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 8:41, archived)
# not true, it's actually because they feel guilty and don't want to unleash another michael flately on the world
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 8:42, archived)
# And all the Balkan countries can afford it better than Ireland?
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 8:43, archived)
# yes
theyre the richest countries on earth (except for bulgaria)
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 9:02, archived)
# i think
they should get someone to perform my lovely horse
although there's a danger of the comedy of it causing it to win
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 12:47, archived)
# UK came second to last
We would have been last if it weren't for Malta. Nice Irish gave us points too.
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 8:29, archived)
# Us lot usually give points to everyone for some reason
I'll have to catch it online when it's uploaded
/I usually only watch for the Wogan commentary
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 8:41, archived)
# it's because the uk doesn't have 17 neighbour countries, unlike most other european states
xenophobia actually produces result based on the quality of the music (with the exception of this years irish entry obviously, that was just a sympathy vote)
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 8:44, archived)
# Our entry is usually shite either way
be it the Irish one or the UK one (we can have both, being northern)
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 8:46, archived)
# I think ireland should ditch the ballads, get some auld boys from the pub
and sing a song about drinking and fighting.

as for the uk? well probably the best thing they could do is get a proper punk act to do a song that names every european country and calls them all cunts in a unique and individual fashion. a surprisingly few people learned from last years winner, Lordi made it clear that europe wants to ROCK!
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 8:55, archived)
# Ireland should get fucked. Completely.
It's what they all want/expect. Then sing or chant the fuck out of the rest. The chance of winning would multiply.
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 9:03, archived)
# Don't we usually give them points?
But then, I could hardly make out the words on their entry.
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 8:44, archived)
# How long did all that take you?!
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 8:15, archived)
# Fuck!
You're a cunt this early?
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 8:16, archived)
# eh?
I asked how long it took someone to make 24 cards. Why'd you call me a cunt?
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 8:19, archived)
# *puts fingers in HT's ears*

*Shouts LA LA LA LA*

(, Sun 13 May 2007, 8:21, archived)
# morning Dave
got anything nice planned today?
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 8:22, archived)
# nice music in church
ros biff lunch and . . . sit on the sofa farting until work tomorrow, I guess . . .

We wanted to see Pan's Labyrinth, but it's finished C]:0(

you?

(, Sun 13 May 2007, 8:24, archived)
# no idea at the moment
might drive back to my old home town to see the comic shop owner about stocking my Zombie book. Or I might stay here and get some work done.

Pan's Labyrinth is ace, rent it out from Blockbuster (or another leading film rental specialist)
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 8:27, archived)
# Is it there yet?
I thought it had only just stopped at the cinema . . .

(, Sun 13 May 2007, 8:40, archived)
# yeah it came out a while ago
cinemas just kept running it because word of mouth was so good
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 8:41, archived)
# pan?
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 8:52, archived)
# Fucking hell!
Even I couldn't imagine a world with that happening!
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 8:54, archived)
# What's wrong with cunt? It's a good word.
I'd get away with it more if I kept my old name.
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 8:23, archived)
# It's the one word that I always assume is meant as a simply offensive remark
Especially as there's no winking symbol or hint of sarcasm after it.
So I repeat, why'd you call me a cunt, what have I done to you?
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 8:25, archived)
# SOMEBODY is in a fighting mood!
*watches*
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 8:27, archived)
# no chap, trying to get to the bottom
of why I've upset someone so we can all be nice friends. As you well know ;)

How are you today chap?
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 8:29, archived)
# Good!
As mentioned earlier, I am eagerly awaiting my copy of the codex seraphinianus.

I got one of the original print run of 5000.
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 8:34, archived)
# what's that then?
*googles*
ooooh, looks interesting, I'll look at that a bit more later.
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 8:38, archived)
# Jesus!
What's the problem man? You'd think I'd cut your arm off. It's Nikon Fella here. I'm supposed to be a cunt, you eejit!
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 8:28, archived)
# Sorry mate
If that's just how you greet people then fine, I'll ignore it. But I don't respond well to unexplained insults without comedic remarks that follow.
It comes from gettiong called a cunt on here by a couple of other people with no explanantion whatsoever.
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 8:30, archived)
# Aye but it's me...
It's what I do. Come to Belfast and I'll call you a cunt to your face, but still buy you a pint.
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 8:34, archived)
# I am going to make a t-shirt that says
FREE PINTS FOR CUNTS
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 8:36, archived)
# how sweet
*makes note in B3ta translation manual made, Nikon/Shuya is a sweary mary and is not being rude* ;)
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 8:37, archived)
# Right!
I'll make a note that you're a sarcy cunt
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 8:38, archived)
# I can be, also noted for having a "very dry wit" by someone
(I forget who now)

But never nasty to people :)
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 8:46, archived)
# I know you do, sir ;)
I just didn't want to give myself away so soon, so I apologise if I sounded rude. Well, I was being rude but in my own way...the new name throws people. It's still me though...The fucking rude cunt AKA Nikon Fella. I'm rude as hell but still nice about it. Hopefully.
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 8:51, archived)
# That would actually make quite a nice t-shirt
with "hopefully" being a back print :D
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 8:52, archived)
# Too long, I think
though I'm sure a T shirt could come from edited portions ;)
/you have the skills for that
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 8:56, archived)
# There is a very high chance that he is being rude, you just don't need to take it personally.
Not that I'm speaking on someone else's behalf or anything.
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 8:40, archived)
# That's rich coming from you, Mr Gronkie!
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 8:45, archived)
# Yes, yes it is.
WE'RE ALL CUNTS AROUND HERE, ANYONE THAT SAYS OTHERWISE IS A RETARD OR A LIAR.
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 8:56, archived)
# I must apologise for not taking part much in your ZMR site
it seems redecorating here is taking longer than I thought. And added extras like painting the frigging front gate etc. I promise I'll get my musical arse in gear soon.
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 9:01, archived)
# Don't sweat it, I haven't been doing much lately either.
The last 10 people to have signed up have been spammers. I've spent more time banning people than I have making music lately.

I really need to make it harder for them...
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 9:14, archived)
# I just found a track of me "attempting" to play flamenco guitar
I've uploaded it senduit.com/27e2a3
it's full of mistakes and swearing
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 9:21, archived)
# Awesome!
Don't forget, Mystery Bob made a hosting site if you want to use it:

zombiemoonrobots.spirokeet.com/
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 9:28, archived)
# Blimey!
Noone told me about that (though I haven't been on ZMR for a while). Greatfully recieved sir! And bookmarked.
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 9:30, archived)
# I'm not sure asf files will work though - best to put it in mp3 format...
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 9:34, archived)
# I do that anyway
I have stuff recommended by Rapitinui and that for doing drum backings but I can't get what I want. I need to work out programming my own keyboard to be honest. I can do a lot with it except getting drum patterns to work for me.
(, Sun 13 May 2007, 9:44, archived)
# It's not the nicest thing to call someone
when they just asked how long it took to make a set of cards
