There was an interview where he said 'I came 'round the corner and 'Suddenly, Goats!'
(, Sat 21 Jul 2007, 20:33, archived)
# a likely story
He said: "As I braked I lost control and I'm not sure exactly what happened. The next thing I knew, I was on the floor with the goat on top of me, and I was sucking it off as I gasped for air."

# Corner dwellers, are goats.
I've just given myself a headache of biblical proportions doing my keep fit. That's the end of me leaping round the front room to dance music.
(, Sat 21 Jul 2007, 20:38, archived)
# Scientific FACT
Keep fit is bad for you - have a cake, and recuperate

# Pizza's in the oven.
Seriously, I think my brain's just expanded. My ears are hot.

# Do it proper. Get thee to a club.
It always amazes me how I can struggle for breath after walking up a hill, but when placed in front of a PA with hundreds of other people, in a hot cramped environment where the bass gives you stomach ache, I can dance for hours on end.

Can anyone use SCIENCE to explain this?

# It's all to do with dolphins.

# I thought as much.
The bastards.

# I don't fit in in those sorts of places.
Bit too much of a dumpy metaller. If Drop the Lime plays in Brum again I may go.

And I can't go to goff clubs as I have nobody to go with :-( (But, in my youth, I was to be found in most of them)
(, Sat 21 Jul 2007, 20:42, archived)
# Thats the beautiful thing about the good clubs though, nobody gives a toss who you are or what you look like
Unless you genuinely don't like the music or atmosphere. Then thats fair enough.
(, Sat 21 Jul 2007, 20:45, archived)
# They're all full of chavs round here. And it's all that dance music with average looking birds murdering good songs over the top.
And it's all that dance music with average looking birds murdering good songs over the top. And nobody'd go with me.

I think next time I may warm up.

# Awww, El Capitain!
If you're ever in the midlands when someone good is playing, I'll take you proper good clubbing, where its all smiles and hugs and everyones easy :)

# YAY!
Club meet!

Edit- what sort of music? I was just leaping around to Pendulum, and then a bit of BT till my head kicked in.

# Drum n bass, breakbeat, acid, techno, electro, funk, soul, hiphop....
whatever takes your fancy really.

The Custard Factory in Birmingham is the place to be. If a big acts on they empty out the pool in the middle and stick a big gazebo over the top. Dancing in a pool is a wonderful experience.

# That's where we go to a lot of gigs
Isis, Pelican, all that business- I know a couple of mates of mine went to see Kid 606 and Drop the Lime there as well (without me!)

Do you go to the supersonic festival that's on there every year? I was at the last 2.
(, Sat 21 Jul 2007, 20:56, archived)
# Kid 606, I missed him last weekend. Very annoyed.
I dont! And never have, its a rare thing is Birmingham, costs so much to get there.

I must off out now m'dear, but we shall resume this conversation. T'ra! x
