Upcoming films like [REC], Diary of the Dead, Paranormal Activityand more all use this style camerawork. Seems like it's the cool trendy way to make films these days.

One long chase scene with less plot even than 300 (all the plot being in the viral marketing backstory).
Not the best of films, but not the worst either.
