Gleska for "pictures" is "pick-churrs"

And mince does work well better in a west of scotland accent. My accent is adaptable. I'm well spoken when in non-scottish company, due to growing up in the borders, but very glasgow if talking to other scots due to my 8 years in the city.

I'm only half-Scottish and even that half ( my mother ) lost her accent before I was born. I did OK ;)
