The original is pretty cool

but like mega-freaky-weird compared to the remake.

Has Penelope Cruz in the exact same role which is odd.

I just saw the end bit where Tom Cruise fell off a building which was enough to make me come to the conclusion that he can't act, even when falling off a building.

it's called 'Abre les ojos' (Open Your Eyes) which is completely Spanish.

Quite low budget but that somehow makes it more gripping.
