I bought it not realising it was the source text for scientology.. and it was 50p in a charity shop.. read while feeling a bit glum... and it almost had me untill i got to the point that said "I can cure you of your homosexuality" at which point i giggled at it mercilessly and put it down.. also the facts its pretty much filled with advertising for related products and isn't a self help book but instead just proclaims if you give me more money i can help you.

but still opinion, I suppose.

EDIT: also to be more of a pedantic verging on pretencious little nut bag.. reality is an opinion arrived at by consensus. things only become fact when enough people hold it as an opinion of truth.

put forth by a philosopher called Fredrich Neichze in his books; that there is no such thing as an absolute truth. as everything is subjective and your view of something is affected and effected by your cultural upbringing and the opinions you hold.

we can say that people are insane because they're view of reality and how they interact with it is different from the majority. thats where the reality being consensus comes into it. as this is only deemed real because enough of us believe it to be so.

sorry to drop that one.. I've got a ton of stuff whirling through my head currently as I'm trying to figure out what my world view is.
