sure things aren't "photorealistic" like they almost are with the current generation of CGI cartoons, because the first season was made 14+ years ago
but the humour, storylines & characters had so much more depth than the made-only-for-making-money-from-merchandise atrocious shite they put out nowadays

To my memory some kind of things appeared in each episode and then they went into some kind of system or game or something.

It's like vaguely remember the reflection of something in a steamed mirror whilst you're recovering from cataract surgery.
