he was a good comedian, but there are quite a few I like more. Dylan Moran, for one. Possibly the man that makes me laugh the most.

He's the only stand up comedian to ever make me cry with laughter, as far as I know.

you should also try and see Phil Kay who is (along with Hicks & Stewart Lee and Richard Herring) one of my all time favourites and possibly one of the loveliest people to walk the Earth - and a top kisser!
