Some stuff is a bit hard to take.Piper at the Gates of Dawn is... unique. I can only listen to it every now and then. And you can skip over The Final Cut unless you're feeling suicidal and need a little nudge.
However the later stuff, Echos, More, Meddle, Wall, Dark Side etc are great. To me, Wish You Were Here remains their best album; specifically Shine on You Crazy Diamond. Just astoundingly brilliant music.
Their post-Waters stuff isn't as good, sadly but it's still enjoyable to listen to, IMHO.
