# Double barreled thread jack.
Nothing against you picture in particular, it's just the entire lot this is aimed at, so don't take offense *repost*

and the second half of my threadjack:

I have just heard/am listening to Bring It On by Nick Cave, and want to say how excellent i think it is. It's really excellent.

# I read that it was a bit dodgy....
but I take your opinion on board. I will buy it and make my own mind up... glad to hear people like it, because I've always had a huge amount of time for the old massive.

# I was listening to some of the bad seeds
stuff yesterday, then I got into a frenzy and listened to "red red hand" and followed with two Tom Waites albums. Cave is terribly excellent, did you ever read his book " and the ass saw the angel"?

# Yes
I was pretty young at the time so I'd probably appreciate it more now.
Kind of the same redneck obsession displayed by the D*A*A*S..

# I can't say i have read it.
And this is pretty much me discovering Nick Cave right now, i'd heard of him before, but not actually heard his stuff, i'm about to investigate further.

# Go get yourself
some Birthday Party records.
("Prayers on Fire" is a good introduction)
Records, mind, not those funny shiny disc things those crazy kids have these days.

# Oh yes.
And Tom Waits is one of my all time heroes. I think I own pretty much everything he's legitimately recorded.

Have you heard the track Cave did on the "Until the End of the World" soundtrack? Hilarious and amazing. I'll rip it for you if you don't know it...

EDIT - actually, that film was a bit crap, but the soundtrack has some fantastic tracks on it.
