I think profiles should pick up stuff that makes it to the popular page
It would give people recognition for doing good stuff without being subject to the vagaries of the FP system.

And it would also allow brilliant people like JPG to get recognition for their work despite the fact that it's over 280 pixels wide...

Might start a campaign...
