I've been playing with my Holga (120mm camera)
and trying to get a nice dark glass plate effect from it with plenty of grain and vignetting -- I'm close but not there

yeah
but it's a long slow and expensive process... especially as they guys who process the film do it on a machine which tries to correct such things... and they don't appear to be able to stop it.. I need to find myself a helpful photography student with access to a dark room.
