This reminds me of Hamilton Mattress.
I was already reminded of that today while I looked for Rex the Runt DVDs, and I saw a link to Hamilton Mattress.

Jesus, what a shocking nadir for Aardman that was. It's like they just threw lots of little bits of paper with words on them into a hat, pulled a few out and made a film based on the first words they saw.
