has it gone completely tits upi had one that my machine only saw as a raw data unformatted drive,if at all, i got hold of some recovery software, it found the 80g i knew was on there and it allowed me to copy everything.

i've got the data recovery software... would you believe on that hard drive!doh!
i think its more a recognition problem though, keeps wanting to format itself instead of letting me move the data i know is on there...
