Christianity is not even a religion per se. It's a doctrine and a set of tenets under which many religious groups operate their cult of worship. You don't have to be religious to live your life by a set of christian values as they merely sow a moral way of living.
The Uk operates a frreedom of religion policy which means that we are free to choose any faith we like, and more importantly to choose no faith. this is what makes us a secular nation.
