Everybody with children sould havea guitar in the house. Nothing fancy just an acoustic with a slim neck of the sort you can pick up for £30.
If it sits in a cupboard for years then no hardship, but if someone decides to pick it up then you never know what will happen.
Personally I won't have guitar hero in the house. I think it is a ridiculous item and has nothing to do with music or playing guitar.
My nephew has it, however he also has guitars, two acoustic and an electric and takes lessons in classical guitar. He certainly does not confuse the two things as being the same species.
