Your smooth paint skills are legendary you cheeky fellow. I do like a bit of rough though, for me there's something inherently funny and endearing about quick-and-dirty paintmashes.

# Noooooooo
it's a goodcompo and a funcompo.

# It's basically saying, 'Got no skill or ideas? Come and be a twat.'
I was hoping for a good one :(

# but every compo could be viewed as such

# Most compos CAN be shit, but this one just is.
It's for the type of people who love the mighty boosh and use the word 'random' too much.
(, Thu 15 Jan 2009, 18:23, archived)
# That's a totally random thing to say.
ALSO: you know nothing of the crunch.

# Saboo you SLAAAAAAAAAAG!!!!
(, Thu 15 Jan 2009, 18:38, archived)
# I agree.
Some are a bit more TOAP-inducing than others and those can get tiresome, but in the end all of them are what you make of them. I don't think I've ever seen a compo that hasn't produced at least one or two fantastic images.
(, Thu 15 Jan 2009, 18:26, archived)
# I have an idea
that will be wide open and fun (i hope) I'll share when I've made a picture, as I think it helps.
for the mean time have this (I'm bored, tried and just playing around)

Not happy. I just spent ages, slaving away in paint, trying to create something which I deem boardworthy (see thread below), then am instantly dispatched by a one minute job which then receives an abudance of comments due to being top post? I couldn't give two fecks normally, but jebus, this compo has brought out the worst in b3ta.

/continues pathetically selfish rant.

# That's done in paint!?
(, Thu 15 Jan 2009, 18:27, archived)
# Well
paint.net although with no effects or such newfangled wizardry. I merely meant to say that even with free, basic software, a little effort goes a long way and is a little more respectful to the board than a one minute doodle. Or maybe not, I feel rubbish anyway and just want to rant at the interwebs. Bah!

# the post bellow was done in paint?
that is a splendid effort sir/madam!

# Sorry
For all those offended because I used Paint for my entry, I shall explain myself.

I don't have Photoshop and have never had the opportunity. I did a Google image search for underwater towel but got no joy. I was determined to have such objects as my entry and Paint was the only way I felt I could do it.

My Viva MS Paint was a little bit of fun, because I can see it's a shoddy picture and thought I'd make fun of myself before anyone else got there.

Please don't assume I am some dumb youngster trying to bring the tone of the competition down with my picture: I'm fully aware it's got the artistic merit of a doodle by a mong on crack but I thought it got my idea across well enough.
