They're not allowed to, with US shows.I think they have to sign up to as many series as possible, then flog the thing to death. Witness 'Lost' which started well, but rapidly became ludicrous.

Woa woa woaLost was always ludicrous and is brilliant for it. I think the problem people have with it is that they didnt twig it was sci-fi quick enough.
