Yeah, Inglourious Basterds looks like a gas..but Death Proof really didn't do it for me. Some good moments visually, but the dialogue was shite.. not in the cheesy exploitation style he intended, just rehashing his old script ideas as far as I could see.
Especially next to Planet Terror which was AWESOME

Well, the whole grindhouse revival idea was a good idea well executed but unfortunately missed the mark.It's not the eighties anymore and it's worth noting that today's viewing audience does not like being told what they ought to like. Which is a shame.
