# I had some of those just the other night
with 2 steak and kidney puddings with chips.
Not even pig can put me off pudding, peas and chips.

Edit:// I think the addition of pig would be better. Ham with peas, mmmm, with steak and lamb. I'm such a carnivore.

# ah, I still eat them
absolutely blinding with steak as well

# If it is post bangers and mash you have to sing
'Lets all preambulate down THe Strand. One is in possession of a banana'
(, Thu 19 Mar 2009, 16:14, archived)
# Or after some fine port and whiskey
"Indicate the path to my abode
I'm fatigued and I wish to retire,
I partook in liquid refreshment sixty minutes ago
And it's gone right to my cerefenfeniculum
Whereever I may perambulate,
Through land or sea or agitated water,
You will always hear me humming this melodium;
'Indicate the path to my abode'"

EDIT: Though I think the term "One is in possession of a banana" is used far too infrequently these days.

*makes mental note to use it more*

In other news, you know you've been on b3ta too much when you see a sign for 'The Coachmaker's Arms' and read it as 'Cockmaker's'....

Yeah. I split up with my Mrs ( we are married again, don't ask )

And thought it would be a top idea to go and live in my dad's pub.
I have very fond memories of that roof. It's nice living in a 16th century coaching house but murder on your head when you are pissed and the Purlins ( huge beams ) are 5ft from the floor.
(, Thu 19 Mar 2009, 16:32, archived)
# Heh, 5ft?
I'd barely be scalped... ;)
