Not sure, your shadow puppets are ace, yet are too close to the same
issue (war and death). So let's say "growth" of some sort. I'll look about
and see if I can't follow in kind.

# Here. I wanted to try a couple things in Blender that came to mind, so I'll go first.

Spun bezier for the caps. Extruded cylinder and then applied a curve.
Textured with basic noise. 3 lights.
