NaaaStereotypical American. They were right. Facts had nothing to do with it. Normally at some point they'll feel as they are right there is A) a law against what the other person was doing, B) It would never happen in America where things were better and C) They could sue.
I have seen this so many, many times especially when they think that they can ignore the age limit as they want to stay therefore it must be against the law. THey'll then tell me it's discrimination and that it's not allowed in the US. I then as them if they have crechés or old peoples homes in America to which they inform me, 'but that's different'.
