Does the router connect, e.g. the DSL and internet light come on?

If not check these settings.

Enter your 'password' and 'broadband username' which ends with (your email address)@adsl.virgin.net where asked in the router setup.

Virgin ADSL off-net generic settings.

VPI = 0 (Virtual Path Identifier)

VCI = 38 (Virtual Channel Identifier)

ADSL Modulation = Auto

Encapsulation Mode = PPP over ATM (PPPoA - RFC2364)

MUX (Multiplexing)= VC

MTU = 1458 (or even default of 1500 or Auto)

DHCP Server:- enable
