Interesting, the original I took it from had some evidence of civilisation, a street lamp and some electrical lights around the tree and such,I cloned it all out, changed the forest and sky levels and colour to make it day for night and added the stars and soft focus plus extra warmth on the lights, then cropped it down to frame the tree better as the focal point.
Obviously similar treatments have been performed by others!
