I bought mineon www.cdworld.co.uk/mmcd/gbcd/#gp32 for 100 quid plus VAT. It arrived early the next morning, and I'm well impressed with it.
I think they're cheapish because the market thinks they've failed because there's not been a lot of commercial software for them. But there seems to be a big homebrew scene, and good emulators for loads of consoles, so it's great for what I want.

i gotmy gba writer thingy off there and the guy is pretty good. im fancying one of those gp32's but i'd have to get rid of the old gba to afford it :(
