# I always thought
that was an integral part of the artwork; the ambiguity of the word 'slept' as Tracey Emin in her introductions to the work emphasised that with some of the people named no actual 'sleeping' was done while with some actual sleeping was the only thing done.

I believe the original of this artwork is no longer in existence (being lost in a warehouse fire some years ago) and despite many requests she has no desire to replicate it.

Say what you like about Emin (and many do) if she was in it for the money she could earn a small fortune just licensing copies of this work for private buyers.

# That's all exactly right
The ex knew her from ages back and they had shared a bed a couple of times so Emin put her name in the tent. I was going out with her when the warehouse fire happened, which is how I got to hear about it.

She was a top lass, she also knew Bob Mortimer (which impressed me more than Emin, obviously).

# Well, naturally. That truly is impressive.
naturally. That truly is impressive.I don't get to meet/know any famous people I just try to earn a bit of pocket money talking about their works from time to time. Like the old adage "if you can't do it teach it" only even worse - "if you can't do it or teach it talk about it as if you know about it".
