When we moved house we spent about 3 months stripping and decorating it before we got everything hooked up and connected again.
The only thing that preserved sanity was being able to access games and DVD box sets in a completely offline environment. Having to set up your broadband and wireless in an environment where you're stripping wallpaper, plastering, sanding, painting, etc, just so you can access your own stuff for which you have paid, seems a bit crap to me.
