Editing and making something well, is impressive. And I congratulate you on that.
It is almost a 'First World Problem' situation. I have no particular sympathy the situation. Perhaps the test is stupid conceptually. I suspect a language test would be more useful... but I really am utterly un-engaged.
It isn't like I can't sympathise. In an earlier relationship I was trying to live with my partner abroad, and in my current (and hopefully final one) I married someone from a European country with seemingly the worst embassy in the world (hence it would be nice if she became British for visas etc).
Now I want to refer you back to my first response. This is an excellent video, well put together, and you should be proud. You made your point and did it in style. I wasn't being facetious.
