I don't find him that funny to be honest
For me, his on-stage persona is a little too sneering and there are not enough actually good lines or clever slapstick to compensate.
It's too much like a snidey, middle class student who envies the popular but dim blokes with the girls and expensive cars but can't admit that, so he has to tear them down behind their backs. It's negative and ultimately boring.
I notice a lot of empty seats and canned laughter going on too.
