What utter bollocks
All flying is perfectly safe unless you get too close to the edges. The ground is most reliable edge there is. No amount of "modernisation" will change that.

Can't find the one above - I'd have to through tens of long winded Rutan presentations...
But it stuck to my brain for the sheer mental aspect of so much done in so little time.
