For starters, Apple subcontracts manufacturing, so it has no factories in China. All I've read on the matter indicates that their subcontractors are required to have better working standards than the norm in China. Also, other companies use the same subcontractors - no-one's on their case, are they?
So put up or shut up.

True or not and regardless of Apple
The subcontract thing does not wash. It didn't for BP when their subcontractor filled up the Gulf of Mexico with oil. BP were responsible for making sure that proper safety procedures were being followed. Asking your subcontractor to treat the locals well and then doing nothing to check this or then putting ridiculous production targets in place which you know will mean they will have to take short cuts or abuse the staff is not acceptable
