I take it this uses reflectance technology for the heart rate
I use a MIO band which is highly accurate and the Bluetooth output neatly engages with Mapmyrun or the, admittedly quite crap, MIO app.

I have a mio too
works with endomondo and runkeeper... anything with bluetooth lte support, which is most apps, but not all hardware.
