well nobody knows how much it'll be, the devil's in the detail...but
the UK is not going to pay any more than it has committed to - that'll be ensured by David "British bulldog" Davis.
The EU budget works in a 7 year cycle (known as the multiannual financial framework) so depending where we are with this will determine how much we have to pay. However if we've legally committed to x for the lifetime of whatever portfolio of capital projects x is we will have to pay (or risk stalling the "negotiation") - either way the EU wins.
You can't order a takeaway then when the delivery boy turns up just go "nah you're alright mate". Unless you're happy with never getting takeaway from that place again.
