How do you avoid the flying red things? The ones with the spots..

to collect all the power ups from the previous level.

but then it's the purple fuckers you have to worry about
y'know, the ones that fire stars... took me ages to work that bit out

turn the teleport gun/window round the other way, then when they come at you they get zapped rather than draining your shield.

I just worked out a timing in the pattern and avoided them like that
