This is a normal post Lovely, lovely pics old chap ...
Aside from the snow leopards, were the brown ones cougars / pumas ? (they were a lovely darker brown)

they are gorgeous, also got a couple of amur leopards in there, not something you're likely to see often and a very rare european linx or two.

34 left in the wild, and only 800 of the snow leopard cubs left in the wild; things have probably gone beyond being a bit critical, unless people like Terry and zoos world wide can pull it off with breeding programs. We've done it before to save a species from the night, so it can be done!

This is a normal post I'm going to try to get down to the site while
my missus is off at the end of the Easter term to see if I can lend a hand (or at least donate a bit of my redundancy pay)

Their website does need a spring clean by some of you talented people; Terry's got loads of high res full on pictures he can play with now, but being an old school zoologist I doubt knows how to; so if any of you guys want to lend the guy and his people a hand, please do so. They are not technically a zoo, and some of his staff live in caravans, such is their commitment.

mrmatt: phone in advance, do mention my real name if you want to as reference; James in the library at ZSL, and be blown away at the obvious affection Terry displays for these wonderful animals when he shows them to you; like you he is an absolute gem :)
