it's because the action of a few fucking idiots has detracted from the message of the protest.
being a northern monkey hailing from a town that had it's guts ripped out the last time this lot were in power i've little sympathy for the tories.
But i've got absolutely zero sympathy for mindless fucking vandals intent on wanton destruction and murder by fire extinguisher.

I was born and raised in a former mining town that just elected its first Tory MP.
So I know where you're coming from. It depresses me that people have such short memories.
Regarding the protestors... Any large group of people will always have its share of dicks...
I'm sure there are plenty of police who are decent and hard-working, but I've met quite a few arsehole coppers.
I'm willing to bet that there are some decent politicians too, sadly drowned out by the loud, powerful and ruthless.
Some people are just cunts... and the guy with the fire extinguisher is just one of them. By all means do whatever you can to try and change the system, but never EVER harm another person. That should be Rule One.

15000 people marched in edinburgh on the 23rd of october and it was barely even on the scottish news.
i'm not up for violence against the person but i won't shed tears over some windows.
