I don't personally feel like I am the Queen's subject
in the same way that any celebrity has any more worth than me, my family of friends. The fact the royal family exist has almost no bearing on my life.
The exception being public money being spent on stuff like this. And I think if you can't protest that, then there is an issue... But I really don't understand how you can feel degraded by a family existing. They are not even the wealthiest family out there. There are way richer and cuntier people kicking about out there.
Edit: I have written bunches of stuff today. I hope I am not coming across as a bit of a twat. I am pretty much pro-nothing.

it is the inherited priviledge
which pisses me off. they get don't have to work (any work they do is fucking PR), and people see them as the highest in the land in social ordering. all the plebs who think they are wonderful make me laugh. (and im a pleb!)

From what I understand
Willbertson is a Sea King pilot and his job has the same demands as any other Search and rescue pilot. He even married a plebonian.
And yeah, it is pretty much just PR. But I am quite impressed one of them got let loose on a helicopter.
I am pretty sure if you were exposed to the spoilt-shit-scene it would make you vomit how little some people do and think. It really isn't just the royal family. They are just sufficiently old-money that they get their faces on our coins.
I think they have been pretty much a waste of space since 1066 or some time before. At least these days they are not entirely publicly funded.
