It's also demonstrably not the same design as the one in the referenced article, which makes the whole thing even odder. It's like they got the intern to do the graphics or something...

This is a normal post having worked as an architect in china,
i can say that it wouldn't surprise me if it is the one shown in the article, and they designed it (did this render) in 1 hour, before shooting it off to the developer for approval.
