It looked alright to me
but I have no real affinity to the book as I found it really boring. But as film it looks ok.

I don't think Hitchhikers Guide is that great. It's just not to my taste. Douglas Adams, however, was an interesting person. I think I know more about him that I know about his books.

Tolkein was a man I know nothing about who wrote books about wizards and crap.

making our way through the Tom Baker years the last few series with Adams as script editor, some of them are pretty bad.
