I'd still rather buy the charity stuff
than have new things made unnecessarily in appalling working conditions.*
Still. I think they have become aware of what people will pay on, for instance, ebay. A lot of ebay stuff comes from charity shops. People go round looking for bargains to sell on. So I don't blame them for doing it.
*also the last time I went shopping for new clothes, it was all crap. Cheap and really poor quality.
