I wasn't trying to spoil his fun.
I was merely pointing out that he could kick any cat in the head, repeatedly if he wanted, whereas finding that particular cat would probably be near impossible. It may not even be alive after it savagely kicked its own head in. So what then? Do we try to find its grave and beat its corpse to bits? What if it was cremated, what then? Even if we were to find its corpse, I can tell you for a fact, kicking a live cat in the head, however many times one wishes to do so, is infinitely more satisfying than desecrating a pet cemetery, beating on a corpse, and then defecating on its cold, lifeless body. Telling him he can rape and murder any cat is by far the better way of actually giving him the opportunity to do that.
And if he wants to smear shit and blood over the cat while he's beating it, you should just let him. Because some urges ARE ok, despite what the RSPCA, the police, your psychiatrist, your parents, your wife, your crying children tell you.
