GTA IV still looks great after all these years
The level of detail in the game world, and some of the tech things in it like the shadows, lighting and the dynamic physics based animation were way ahead of their time.

Cant ruddy wait for GTA V

Fair comment, very true.
But I found the game greatly lacking in actual, y'know, fun. Getting phone calls off idiots and dealing with shite traffic is real life, don't want it in a game. Less pixel fetishism, more jetpacks!
