This is a normal post *back in a few.. over at ebay*
hmmmm. *nontrustometer fluctuating* It almost looks like they intentionally dumped dust all over it.(then had a cat walk all over it)
but it is Nevada so i guess it would get a lot of dusty sand blown in the garage. and the interior has a lot of wear for a vette that was only driven for 7 years. but all that said, restored it will just be a thing of beauty. off to check lottery tickets....

and more fun

This is a normal post fun for you maybe....
but i have absolutely no interest in growth stunted hormonally challenged teenage girls with damaged appendages. i will take cash to buy an engine any day.

This is a normal post I've got an old car
that has been tucked away in a garage for about 10 years now. I must do something about it next summer.

This is a normal post In the UK ... it will be rust
Not dry enough here ... to much moisture in the air. :(

This is a normal post i disagree,
garaged it should be OK if it wasn't a rust bucket to start with. here in florida it is far more humid combined with salt air and i've had little to no issues with rust on my project cars as long as they are garaged.
Sundae, i say make a plan for next summer it's wonderfully good fun to tinker with cars. :)

This is a normal post It is not a 'classic',
But is same age as me (old). The door of the garage is nailed shut but through the window it looks ok still.

Last pic I have before storage:

This is a normal post Ooooh Nice! what a lovely chunk of car! :)
that deserves to see the light of day again!
if i had to guess its a 1968 Dodge Polara or a Monaco 500?
(, Fri 2 Nov 2012, 2:07, , Reply)
This is a normal post It is a Polara 500
To my knowledge one of only two in the UK, and only mine has matching numbers of engine/body/colour. I'm not going to confirm the year because it was born when I was, and it is in better shape.

This is a normal post oh excellent!
wonderful Mopar goodness. :)
Question, what are the road tax rules on that? i remember reading on a car forum a few years back that in some cases you can apply to be road tax exempt?
(, Fri 2 Nov 2012, 9:31, , Reply)
This is a normal post It is tax exempt
But you still have to get and display a tax disc that states: 'Tax Exempt', which is pretty stupid.

This is a normal post oh that seems silly,
but good that it is exempt.
good luck with it, they don't make cars like that anymore, you are lucky to have it. :)

This is a normal post It was great fun to drive
Very fast, but you had to book corners in advance. You'd turn the wheel and eventually it would say: "Oh all right then, if you must" and start to turn. The fastest I went was 110 mph, and it had plenty more, but it was like being on a ship in an Atlantic storm! Never again.
It would have a Porsche off the traffic lights though no problem. And, boy, did I! :D

This is a normal post Oh i am sure it was great fun to drive! :D
a lovely car with some serious horsepower to back it up!
so true what you say about corners though, its a true land yacht... in the US you rarely need to turn, (so that is not needed as a feature, haha) and if you do you have miles to do it in. ;)
a couple of years back a friend from the UK and i went on a road trip from here to NY, he was amazed that we have no corners or even bends on our highways.
