This is a question Customers from Hell

The customer is always right. And yet, as 'listentomyopinion' writes, this is utter bollocks.

Tell us of the customers who were wrong, wrong, wrong but you still had to smile at (if only to take their money.)

Customer: Can i have a BLT?

Me: sure, 6 inch or 12 inch?

Customer: What's the difference?

agh
I especially like it when they say 'Yes' or 'No'.

It's an either/or question! 'Yes' or
'No' is not an answer!

to be fair...
a lot of food places are pretty noisy, and when you're given an option you don't always hear what they say, but don't want to make the person repeat themselves because that is troublesome for them, so you just say "yes" or "no" and hope for the best.
