I like to go the extra mile for the customer.Not because I want to be helpful. But because I want to waste an extra 5 or 10 minutes with a pointless conversation or looking for stock I know probably isn't there.
I'm so zany.

Head off to the staff room, have a chat, come back and tell them you have no stock which you knew all along.
