» When Animals Attack

dobermans
When I was young, that's quite a long time ago now. I was at my Dad's house and he was looking after a friends dog (big black doberman - think that's how it's spelt :S). Anyway, as I walked across the kitchen to get a drink, it attached me for no reason. Thankfully, out of complete shock, I stayed still and didn't move. To this day I still have the scars where it got a hold of me. NEVER, believe a dog owner who says that there dogs don't bite. They can turn at any stage and become devils out to attack! Not really a tale of survival but it felt like it at the time!

» My most treasured possession

famiy and friends
There isn't one most treasured possession I could name. My children, family, friends and my boyfriend who I truly love and is my soul mate would be all I would want in my life. Life is too short to worry about materialistic possessions. A fire could take all my possessions bar those I've listed above.

» Pet Peeves

ignorance
10 years ago on my travels to NZ I stopped in L.A. for a couple of nights. At the time I was with my ex who is a Kiwi. We were minding our own business when two fat Americans asked where we were from, to which I replied London and my ex replied New Zealand. To my astonishment, one of them said "Oh yeah, we know where you mean, England is there (pointing upwards) and NZ is just below (pointing downwards)". To top it all off they asked why my accent was so different to my ex's!!!!! Bloody ignorance of the world around us and other cultures drives me mad!!

» Phobias

wood lice - eeek!
Yesterday I stayed at my boyfriends and every time we went out for a smoke, I could see these horrible creepy black yukky, disgusting revolting things climbing all over the place on a white exterior wall. It made me cut down on the smoking - they're revolting. I'd never seen so many climbing on walls, I thought they lived under pops and damp places - eeeeeek, I have goose pimples even thinking about it!
